Bristol is my home. It also happens to be one of my favourite cities in the world. When I returned to the UK from New Zealand I began looking for somewhere that combined the culture and variety of the city with close proximity to the countryside and the mountains. I was torn between starting a new life in the South West or Scotland, ultimately the South West won but as you can see from the rest of my blog I still manage to get up to Scotland a fair bit!

This page is to collect my postings of mini adventures in and around Bristol to hopefully inspire you to get outdoors if you already live in Bristol or to act as a massive plug to get you to visit our delightful city and surroundings.
